Partner with Us

40% of Londoners have had a mentor and there is a growing thirst to be mentored and to become a mentor. On top of this, there is an increased number of entry level talent from diverse backgrounds (including young Black women) entering the industry.  The figures show that Black women are not progressing in their careers at the same rate as other groups. They often do not have mentors and do not have access to networks outside of their organisations who can support them.

We believe that as well as being part of the change there is an opportunity for companies to support and  partner with us. So far we have had fantastic support from well known industry leaders and brands but,  it will take a village to create the impact we believe needs to be made.

You can work and partner with us in a variety of ways:
  • EVENT SPACE - We’re looking for aspirational spaces to host our round tables and networking events, In our experience many Black women do not have access or they have been made to feel uncomfortable in these spaces. This needs to change. Our aim is to host at least one event per quarter. If you If you have contacts in the private membership space and you can help please drop us a line.
  • SPONSORING - Sponsoring these round tables by: Supplying budget for food / drink for attendees, potentially helping us to secure and cover speaker fees. If you have any recommendations for great speakers do please get in touch.
  • PROMOTION - RECRUTING MENTEES / MENTORS - Support sourcing / promoting lollipop within your organisation (both mentors and mentees). This could be in addition and compliment any scheme you may already have in place. www.lollipopmentoring.com/signup. We’d also love your support in providing media space / design and copywriting resource.
  • ask us how we can develop bespoke mentoring for your Black female talent
  • RUNNING COSTS - Currently lollipop is funded solely by its founder and is supported by two part time volunteers. Our aim is for lollipop to fund a full time employee and provide bursaries for mentee training, mentee therapy as well as mentor coaching. Do get in touch if you can help with any of the above: info@lollipopmentoring.com
  • If you cannot do any of the above, be mindful of the Black female talent you have, make sure they have sponsors within your organisation and ask for honest feedback on how you are doing as a business. Oh, and be prepared for honest feedback if you really want to know and do something about it!
